Who will handle your case

Élise Marchand

At the bar since2004

Divorce, custody, matrimonial assets, estates

Élise founded the firm in 2009 after nine years in a leading regional family-law practice. She has pleaded more than four hundred family cases, and still believes most of them should never reach a courtroom.

Admitted to the bar in 2004, she is a trained family mediator and teaches matrimonial asset law to bar-school students. Clients know her for the same directness she brings to court: what your case is worth, what it will cost, and what she would do in your place.

Admitted in 2011, he defends employees and small employers alike, which gives him something rare in negotiations: he knows exactly what the other side’s file looks like.

Your side of the case

Every case has two sides. We take yours.

A law firm that speaks plainly, moves fast and puts its fees on the table before you commit to anything.

Fees in writing before we start

A signed fee agreement, not a rate you discover later.

One lawyer owns your file

The person you meet is the person who pleads.

Answers in one working day

Silence is the one thing we never bill you for.

How fees work

Three rules, no small print. Taking your side starts with not surprising you.

01

A first consultation at a stated price

You know the cost of the first meeting before you book it. You leave with an honest view of your case, including when it is not worth fighting.

02

A written fee agreement

Before any work starts you sign a fee agreement: scope, method of billing (hourly, flat or results-based) and what happens if the case changes course.

03

Itemised invoices, no meter running

Each invoice lists who did what and when. If new work appears, we ask before we bill, never after.

Bound by more than a contract

Taking sides does not mean cutting corners: the rules of the profession hold us, and they protect you.

Professional secrecy

Everything you tell us is privileged, even before you become a client.

Registered with the bar

Every lawyer here is registered and subject to the bar’s oversight, each admission year is public and shown on this site.

Conflict check before we accept

We verify that no conflict of interest exists before opening any file, and we decline when one does.

Written fee agreements

Billing terms are agreed and signed before the work begins, never discovered on an invoice.

Tell us briefly what your matter concerns. We reply within one working day, and this exchange is already covered by professional secrecy.
